Tandem Hang Gliding Flight from Pedra Bonita

Experience flying over Rio de Janeiro like a bird. You meet at the São Conrado Free Flight Club, where you check in and meet your pilot. From there, a van takes you up through Tijuca National Park to the Pedra Bonita ramp, 520 meters above sea level. After a short safety briefing and a couple of practice runs, you take off in tandem with a certified pilot. During the flight you will see the Atlantic rainforest, Pedra da Gávea, Dois Irmãos, Rocinha and the São Conrado coastline, before landing gently on the beach. The flight lasts 7 to 20 minutes depending on the wind, and the whole experience takes 1.5 to 2.5 hours. This activity depends on the weather: if the wind does not allow flying, it is rescheduled or refunded.
