Two Brothers Hill Hike

Conquer the summit of one of Rio de Janeiro's most iconic peaks! The Two Brothers Hill hike is a 4-hour adventure that starts in the Vidigal favela and winds through lush Atlantic Forest to reach the summit at 533 meters above sea level. During the ascent, you'll walk along shaded trails beneath century-old trees, with chances to spot toucans, marmosets and other species of local wildlife. The effort is amply rewarded at the top: an absolutely stunning 360-degree panoramic view encompassing the beaches of Leblon, Ipanema, Copacabana, Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, Pedra da Gavea and the entire South Zone of Rio. It is considered one of the best views in the city. The trail is of moderate difficulty and is suitable for beginners with good physical fitness.
