Description
Prepare yourself for the most challenging and rewarding hike in Rio de Janeiro! Pedra da Gávea, at 842 meters, is the world's largest rock monolith by the sea and one of the most sought-after trails by adventurers. The 6-hour trek begins in Barra da Tijuca and ascends through the Atlantic Forest, passing through dense forest sections, waterfalls, and impressive rock formations. The main challenge is the famous "Carrasqueira" — a technical rock climbing section where ropes and safety equipment are provided by our specialized guide. The reward at the summit is incomparable: a 360° view that spans the entire city of Rio, from Barra da Tijuca to Downtown, passing through Copacabana, Ipanema, the Lagoon, and Cristo Redentor in the distance. Advanced difficulty — good physical fitness is essential. A conquest you will never forget.
